Soroosh Mortezapoor

About Me

My name is Soroosh Mortezapoor. I have always been obsessed with science, and its application, technology, the two factors that constantly make huge impacts on our world. Since my childhood, I have always wanted to change the world and take it to a next level. I believe every revolution, begins with small simple, directed, thoughtful steps. I gained so many wonderful pieces of experience with Nativy Translations and I am very excited to be taking Nativy to the next level, with my passion for Software Engineering and Artificial Intelligence. I hope that to be one of the small steps that can change the world some day.

I come from Iran and have been living in Vienna, Austria since 2012. I studied Software Engineering, in Tehran, and received my Bachelor of Eng. degree from Iran University of Science and Technology. Then I moved to Europe and studied Computer Science at University of Bern, Switzerland, for a semester, when I found out that I was interested in Artificial Intelligence and Robotics, more than general Computer Science. That’s why I left Switzerland and moved to Austria to study at Vienna University of Technology in “Computational Intelligence”, and later known as Logic and Computations and I received my Dipl.-Ing. degree, which is equivalent to Master of Science in German-speaking countries. Since 2013 and besides studying, I joined a fantastic startup and became its CTO, Nativy Translations, a professional human translation provider, with thousands of native translators from different corners of our world and clients ranging from large famous corporates to simple private persons, who enjoy high quality translations in over 500 different language combinations. In my years at Nativy, the pieces of experience I obtained have had tremendous impact in my life! Now after a few years with Nativy Translations, my enthusiasm for making Nativy Translations, the world’s leader in this market, is more than ever.
